Upgrade Process¶

Purchasing a Pro License¶

To purchase a Pro license:

1. Visit boast.press/purchase
2. Select your preferred plan (Personal, Business, or Agency)
3. Complete the checkout process
4. You'll receive an email with your license key and download link

Installing the Pro Version¶

There are two ways to install the Pro version:

Method 1: Direct Upgrade¶

1. Navigate to A/B Tests > Settings in your WordPress admin
2. Click the "Upgrade to Pro" tab
3. Enter your license key
4. Click "Activate License"
5. The plugin will automatically upgrade to the Pro version

Method 2: Manual Installation¶

1. Download the Pro version from the email link or your account dashboard
2. Deactivate the free version in WordPress (don't worry, your data will be preserved)
3. Upload the Pro version via the WordPress plugin uploader or FTP
4. Activate the Pro version
5. Navigate to A/B Tests > Settings > License
6. Enter your license key and click "Activate License"

Verifying Your Upgrade¶

To verify that the upgrade was successful:

1. Navigate to A/B Tests in your WordPress admin
2. Look for the "Pro" badge in the top-right corner
3. Check that Pro features are available in the interface
4. Create a test with more than 2 variations to confirm

License Management¶

Activating Your License¶

To activate your license:

1. Navigate to A/B Tests > Settings > License
2. Enter your license key in the provided field
3. Click "Activate License"
4. You should see a confirmation message that your license is active

Managing Sites (Multi-site Licenses)¶

If you have a Business or Agency license that supports multiple sites:

1. Log in to your account at boast.press/account
2. Navigate to "Licenses"
3. Find your AB Testing license
4. View the list of activated sites
5. Deactivate sites you no longer need
6. Activate the license on new sites as needed

Renewing Your License¶

Pro licenses are valid for one year and include updates and support. To renew:

1. You'll receive renewal reminders by email before expiration
2. Log in to your account at boast.press/account
3. Navigate to "Licenses"
4. Click "Renew" next to your license
5. Complete the renewal checkout process

Upgrading Your Plan¶

To upgrade from one Pro plan to another:

1. Log in to your account at boast.press/account
2. Navigate to "Licenses"
3. Click "Upgrade" next to your license
4. Select your new plan
5. Pay only the difference between plans

Transitioning from Free to Pro¶

When upgrading from the free version to Pro, all your existing data is preserved:

• All tests and their settings
• All test variations
• All impression and conversion data
• All bucket rules and configurations

The upgrade simply unlocks additional features without disrupting your existing setup.
